The HBO version boasts the beginning logo of Miracle Pictures, most likely being named after Miracle Studios from Hollywood Boulevard (1976), another Roger Corman flick.
Many posters from Jim Wynorski films can be seen in Acme Lingerie, such as Chopping Mall, Return of the Swamp Thing, Not of this Earth (remake), and more.

The exterior of the HARD TO DIE building is over in Brentwood, just off San Vicente near Wilshire. The shots of the building with lightning behind it were also done in the same area directly on Wilshire - in the spot where Monique Gabrielle pulls up to deliver the bags of chinese food. Again, the interiors were all shot at New Horizons Studio, sadly now gone.
